This delightful art deco mesh purse by Whiting and Davis. It is made out beads called Alumesh which are interlocking enameled aluminum beads. The taupe beaded clutch with a handle has a cool, silky feel as they move in your hands. The purse was made in 1929. This delightful taupe clutch will be treasured for many years to come. The size of the handles are pictured.

It features a metal zipper, an inside pocket and a tan silk like lining. The handles are made out of the same Alumesh material as the beads. The clutch measures 6 inches tall and 10 ½ inches wide. The colour taupe will go with absolutely everything. Very versatile. I do not believe it was every used because it is so clean inside and out.

Patent tag inside was found to granted in 1929. Made in USA, Pat. 78,124.
